- Introduction
Welcome to Bitron, a cryptocurrency trading platform. These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms of Use”) govern your access to and use of our services. By using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
- Definitions
For a better understanding of these Terms of Use, we have adopted the following definitions:
- User: Any person accessing or using Bitron’s services.
- Cryptocurrencies: Digital assets traded on the platform, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, among others.
- Wallet: Cryptocurrency storage tool linked to the user.
- KYC (Know Your Customer): Identity verification process required to use the platform.
- Usage requirements
To use Bitron’s services, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be over 18;
- Have a valid CPF/CNPJ;
- Provide correct and complete information during registration;
- Agree to the identity verification process (KYC).
Bitron reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or inaccurate information.
- Account Registration and Security
- Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials (login and password).
- We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for greater security.
- You must immediately notify Bitron of any unauthorized use of your account.
Bitron is not responsible for losses arising from unauthorized access caused by user negligence.
- Services offered
Bitron offers the following services:
- Buying, selling and exchanging cryptocurrencies;
- Deposit and withdrawal in fiat money and cryptocurrencies;
- Secure storage of digital assets in wallets linked to the platform.
Bitron does not offer financial advice or guarantee a profit on transactions made by users.
- Fees and Payments
- Use of the platform may be subject to trading, withdrawal or deposit fees, which are described on the “Fees and Charges” page of the site.
- All fees are charged automatically at the time of the transaction.
- We do not refund fees already charged, except in exceptional cases approved by Bitron.
- User Obligations and Restrictions
7.1 Obligations:
- Use the platform exclusively for legal purposes;
- Provide truthful and up-to-date information;
- Comply with applicable legislation, including anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT).
7.2 Restrictions:
It’s forbidden:
- Using the platform for illegal activities;
- Trying to access unauthorized systems or data;
- Violate the rights of third parties or Bitron.
Bitron reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.
- Associated Risks
By using Bitron, you acknowledge that:
- Cryptocurrencies are volatile and subject to fluctuations in value;
- Transactions with cryptocurrencies are not reversible;
- Bitron is not responsible for losses arising from financial decisions or market crashes.
- Limitation of Liability
Bitron is not responsible for:
- Financial losses resulting from user errors or decisions;
- Cyber attacks affecting external systems;
- Temporary unavailability of the platform due to maintenance or technical failures.
To the extent permitted by law, Bitron excludes any liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
- Suspension and Closure of Accounts
Bitron may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate the Terms of Use or applicable laws;
- We identify suspicious or fraudulent activity.
In the event of closure, the remaining funds will be returned, unless blocked by legal order.
- Intellectual Property
All rights relating to Bitron’s brand, logo, design and content are protected by intellectual property laws. The reproduction, distribution or modification of any content without prior authorization is prohibited.
- Changes to the Terms of Use
Bitron reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify users by email or through the platform.
- Legislation and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Panama. Any dispute shall be settled in the courts of Panama, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged.
